Gladys has devoted her life to finding good, stable mentors from wayward apprentices. She has recently set up shop in Aurora and works heavily with social service organizations, placing children in foster homes and doing house checks. She is an old, tired woman who is unassuming and generally harmless. She exudes a feeling of calm serenity. She says she never joined a tradition so she can place these poor darlings where they need to be without impressing her own bias.

Kayla was adopted by a couple when she was two during an excursion on Traditional business to Tibet. She grew up around magic and mysticism. When Denver all but exploded, her parents (members of the Seekers of Truth) died a horrible death and she was left alone. She tends a library in a house that is too big for her, so her boyfriend (!) moved in. They go to the same PTSD support group and generally stumble through life.

Grant is a young, agoraphobic film maker who seems completely happy to be doing something normal for once. He lives with his girlfriend (!) and they go to the same PTSD support group. He is exceedingly good with computers, and only recently seems to have realized what he does is actually magick.

If she hasn't called you a cunt or stolen your cigarettes, then you don't know Judith.

She is one of those "old soul" types, and she seems content to go about her life and occasionally aid that life with magick. She doesn't touch the magickal community provided it doesn't mess with her.
